Went to studylink a few days ago... Hmmm... Definitely Australia. No UK. Rather drown myself in the English Channel than touch that piece of land.

UK currency so high but their landmass for expansion is so small. Go screw yourself =.= Australia... still has over 70% for development... this might be a gravy train. My choices?

Wah... Finally out of college of misery into plains of loneliness again... August 11th liao toh pang seh(freedom) liao... Still playing with Nemesis... Oops have to return charger back to Hon Teng soon... lalala...

Since the end of exams I have already gone to Redbox twice... (Yes i sang... wanna hear me sing? LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!) GSC... a few times? Drove? NONE...

Hearing people scream horribly about their new semester is a bit amusing... Not taking sifu subject... still so horrible? I have been there... done that... YOU GUYS CAN TOO! Yeah sometimes some people's english sounds like they are going up and down the mountain roads but they are not speaking alien alright?

Birth of Nemesis...

For my final project I had to show my brainchild... Name is Nemesis... for this first machine of the 'Reject' class of machines... With the 3 other upcoming machines (depending on whether i got enough funds for them...) being Outlaw, Deviant and Vigilante, you should be able to now understand why i gave the class such a horrible name T.T...

Based on a WWII Soviet T-34 tank, it has two sets of idler wheels on the front and back on both sides, while both sides had a set of 5 wheels. Propulsion comes from the 4th set of drive wheels.

Initial plan was for the wheel to run on tracks with track guides running down the centre of each track. However, due to complexity of the set-up and limited time, a pair of skirts are incorporated in order to prevent the tracks from falling out.

Two sets of batteries are used in the machine, one for circuits and the other for motor drive. Remote control used for controlling the vehicle. Pivot steering used to change direction and 5 different speeds for moving forward ONLY.

Many ask me... why not make a fully enclosed body for it plus a movable turret with an operational gun??? Simple... I am not required to and I got no time, money for it. The body is intentionally exposed so that people can see the inside clearly.

FINAL SEMESTER!

To laugh or to cry?

Last 4 months in INTI liao... or so I hope.
Went to take my results... for once I got no 'Cs'. Conclusion: Isolation policy successful. Got another A! useless one... malaysian studies XP.
Proposal got a nice 'APPROVED' sticker on it already... =D
But teachers still put some puzzling comments. Oh well I will know in time.
The LSV will take shape! It must! It's not only my project, it's my stepping stone to greatness! haha~~
Went to take my timetable... told Ms Kung 'erm i guess my last 2 subjects no clash right?' The reply was 'Yes there are clashes' What the #$%@#$#^... so syok last 2 subjects nia oso wan clash... no wonder in malaysia so many car accidents.

OMG! Mr Koay taking us for Telecom 2... OMG! Die...Die...Die...Die...Die...

Lastly... Good or bad? I only got classes from monday to wednesday... Wish me luck~~

Engineering Night '09: memoirs of a programmer

My post of programmer had been set in April before the exams.Didn't help with the program flow except for the opening ceremony script.We did the board, shyang did the powerpoint and the brochure, chia hao did the ticket, ban leng did the poster, han ying did the banner, and what did i do? NOTHING!!!yet...Sat at the booth for some times... either for my own duty or others in case they r busy. From GPS we got our tickets, poster and banner. Seniors, to my disappointment, did not provide any support or even bothered to come see or contact us. Probably they just wanna keep in their memory their own engineering night last year which wud be so 'superb' to them only... The committee cannot be bothered with them, we HAD to move forward. Initial response was plain... some just ask ridiculous stuff. After about 1 week business started to look up... Besides registration i also have to talk about sponsors... Me, cuan, pin and kelvin went to queensbay and BJ mall to request for sponsors. We didn't get much sponsors, but at least we tried our best. Our sponsorship ppl otherwise can go admire their marvelous performance in convincing us we got the wrong hotlines for them to call. We actually had Traders' hotel at first for our Engineering Night, but because they said we had to pay extra for the night to be held on Friday. After certain conflict we decided to change to Cititel. The food was our main worry... but after talks with Ms. Chloe from Cititel we managed to get a better and more presentable menu. We decided our treasure hunt, lucky draw and other stuff. I helped cuan with the script... then came the shooting... I feel apologetic for being unable to stay past evening to help out... but still they did it. As time went on the prizes were bought, filming done, and the booklet was close to completion by kelvin. Cuan thought about presenting Dr. Yap with an origami dragon... We all helped him with folding the pieces... and i had problems with keeping my mouth shut about this(sry guys!) To others, i would like to clarify i have no girlfriend n the 'make origami for my girlfriend' crap is just to cover the whole thing up... We tried our best to convince lecturers and students to come through class presentations by pin, cuan and kelvin... Since 2nd July all programmers and some staff stayed back in hostel TV room awake all night finishing up all the props of the nite.No sleep... cuan and pin were cutting props and han ying and sai ye were wrapping lucky draw prizes while kelvin was touching up on the movie and other powerpoints, sadly bleng, allen and bee yee were fighting for their assignment and wasn't available to help us... I was only typing up name and table lists... i salute my laptop for taking a fall and still do so much work for me... once morning came i went home to collect my clothes and bath, with help from pin. Grabbed a few vials of bird's nest to eat ... later proceeded to print the lists and fabricate the PCB for the twilight dragon...Sai ye went to collect the casing in the meantime... Later followed allen in his car to his house to collect his clothes and off we went to cititel. As an engineering student i am ashamed to admit that we were stuck in the lift because we didn't realise we had to put the hotel card in first before the lift can carry us up to the room floors. The room we got reminded me of our college... 506... i was still in casual clothing. Tried to help with the balloon arc but it came to nothing. i cut the name tags n clipped them to the string (anyone who blames me for cutting their name tag can come cut me i dun care...) People started coming and the programmers got more nervous. The life and future of the society laid with just this 4 hour event. Pin and the other dances like sunzane, jason and wei jun practised like crazy and later went upstairs to wash up and change... jason and wei jun will have a bigger part in tonight's show... i got the lists out, prizes down and paper screen to the stage. After i got changed even more people showed up. After some delays i brought out my laptop again for its duty for the night. Along with chu kuan we held up the paper screen showing the alien clip and jason n wei jun dashed through the screen... after that while others were eating, the programmers were running around n preparing stuff. There was the first nomination for engineering king and queen... my turn to give them some problem...hehehe... felt bad for ying and bleng... the only blessing we can give them is elimination from the first round. After that had to prepare chia chuin for his guitar performance. Later was hectic and more elimination was done plus some activities... Word challenge was cancelled and there was beat box, chinese orchestra, committee dance and more nomination... chia chuin was king and angelene was queen... after that we had more lucky draw n cleared up. While clearing up kelvin put up 'wen bie' which only I am able and willing to sing along with him... With my remaining strength i sang along with him until the last part he din know the lyrics so i soloed... some demanded encore... i guess those were for kelvin...
By the end I just realised... I haven't had anything proper to eat since the chipsmore biscuit brought by kelvin... That was eaten at around 6am on the day itself...

27th March 2009...

Today... went into Sri's class realise that less than half the people come... Completed and handed up assignment lor... Later chan class weird weird eh... Later played ping pong until i went puff puff(panting... not smoking, i ain't a fag...) then went down to a coffeeshop to eat... chicken rice okok... chai boey is acceptable... Come back, see senior's projects... A huge pity the tank( yes i really mean the tracked vehicle) wasn't working due to a burnt out chip... Later they had a something on the rooftop... i wasn't too keen to join... so i just chose to fill up my waterbottle and walked home... BROKE RECORD! FIRST TIME MANAGED TO WALK HOME! Initial timing - 50mins. I reached home to find my granny not in the house and the alarm was on... luckily i still could go in without triggering the alarm...

People sometimes think i am lazy to drive or i am just pure crazy that i walk home. No... it's just me walking for penitence. I am a really weird guy where I simply have love and hate for everyone... somehow the hate is slightly more than my love... and so i don't wish to disclose it to anyone cuz if i do i might be even more alone... Walking along the hills... feels like a life journey... i tripped, i stopped, i rested, i thought about some stuff... Thnx alot to heaven, who resisted from raining until after i got home and a while later... and also to tesco extra, for shortening my journey by allowing me to walk through their car park...

Few days ago i started contacting a new girl... shes quite nice looking, with an amazingly powerful smile which swept me off my feet... we talked for a while... i tried, for the first time in my life, to ask if i can ask her out during the holidays... (actually i am only testing the waters cuz of so many events during the holidays i wun have any time to spare anyways...) She told me she doesn't know me well yet so she don't go out wif people who she doesn't know... A good laugh to myself for my 'bravery' and also 100 marks for stupidity... at least i show to her i am a straightforward guy...
